JULY ASTROLOGICAL JOURNEY
THE DANCE:
Welcome to July. The month of summer fun in the Sun with family and friends. Vacations and travel plans. Backyard parties and camp for the kids. It’s a lush, joyous month.
Astrologically it’s busy. The Big News this Month is Venus will station Retrograde. We begin to see the effects of the upcoming Venus Retrograde station. On her 584-day journey to meet with the Sun. Opening the star gate of Leo in the heart of the Lion.
July opens as an exuberant month, where new conversations emerge, and optimism rises as the Summer heat begins to rejuvenate our senses. One needs to be cautious of how much fun we are partaking in and where this leads us, lest we find ourselves in a very unusual position.
JULY HIGHLIHTS :
VENUS STATIONS RETROGRADE:
Venus entered her shadow period on June 19th. Will then station retrograde on the 22nd of July. This can open the flood gates of love. Emotional dramatic displays of courageous adventures. Seeking to re-evaluate our desires and what we truly seek for happiness within our lives. Here we feel deeply, opening expressing what we need within our lives at the heart base. We can experience the world with a new feel, as we journey within. Stopping temporarily to discover what the meaning of our lives are. Searching for enjoyment, laughter, love, and social connections.
Leo loves the stage and is competitive in searching for attainment of attraction or theatrics. Here is the actor, the gambler the risk taker, the king of their own kingdom. The EGO resides here displaying our identities and what we seek to protect within our own little universes. Here is competitiveness, and the striving to be noticed.
This retrograde will be fraught with upsets, separations, exaggerations, and expansions of attaining glory and a rightful place upon our throne. Expect drama, intrigue, sides of loyalty taken. A movie playing out in real life as the knight searches for his true love.
The opening scene arrives early in the month, as Venus makes her first square to Uranus. This is not for the faint of heart. Brace yourselves for a ride like no others. There are twists and turns.
Just prior to the Full Super Moon of the month, we set sail with Venus’s square to Uranus on the 1st/2nd of July. Setting off explosive Fire Works. Fatal Attraction meets infatuations of the heart’s desires. Things take off as exciting, impulsive, and unstable. Venus here seeks to separate from all things which are boring. Freeing up space to allow new developments to be initiated. If one finds themselves indulging in a liaison, whether romantically or partnerships. We can be blinded by our own stubbornness to listen to others due to the fixation present in Leo and Taurus energies. Other’s can see the obvious, but the individual in the mist of such energies can be taken away with only seeing one direction. Pulled from the heartstrings. This is an aspect of separations and sometimes divorces. Which don’t always just occur in marriages, but in partnerships and business partnerships. Along with alliances between countries. Loyalties are diminished as we compete for the stage.
The other outlet for such promiscuity is creativity. Sudden interests can show up. A desire to delve into an exciting project. Conqueror a quest and take a risk to indulge or partake in interesting adventures. But this can leave other things hanging and can be quite costly in the long run. Leo likes the adventure, but how much does it cost is the question.
This can be destabilizing for the financial markets or financial institutions. It is wise to be super aware of things and stay on top of your financial dealings if possible.
It can also be a tad problematic with weather related events. Leo is a hot sign and Taurus is rather moist and earthy. Uranus of course is stormy. Hot weather can produce extreme storms to crop up.
Expect issues with the airlines and perhaps accidents arising in such industries. Expenses or rising costs can be associated with things.
Various projects can be delayed in the sciences, technologies due to rising costs or the breakdown of relationships.
Pay attention to what begins to transpire at the beginning of July. Shifts take place and launch us in a new direction for enjoyment.
There will be three connections between Venus and Uranus. The second one arrives on August 9th and the final on September 29th.
Venus will also make three 90-degree angles with Jupiter. She made her first connection on June 11th, 2023.
This is adding exaggerations to her station. Over estimations and an underhanded ability to lie, to obtain what one’s needs or wants. Taurus is also a sign of love. A slow burn of passion and commitment with a long-term goal attached. What is the underlying motive behind Venus and her desires is a key, which we really need to think about before we get swept away with our attractions or needs. Old reviews of such attachments or partnerships are reviewed.
This is an optimistic connection, promoting self indulgence, luxury, and social connections to people in higher positions. It’s rather lavish, but extremely formal. Where one needs to act the part of snobbery to fit in. After all Leo is royalty. Issues of status are apparent and who you know, not what you know will count. We can be bombarded with too much of something, which overwhelms our senses. Making us not think straight. Waste is apparent due to our inconsistency in what we desire.
Legal system issues are surfacing perhaps within the higher established rich people. Issues surrounding financial defrauding or indulging where one had no authority to do so. There is a lot of waste here. With a party attitude that one can get away with almost anything if one has the means and connections. Reviews of this activity maybe questioned during this time.
This can indicate rising costs for buying the necessities. Over inflationary costs and perhaps rising interest rates. Price fixing from various corporations can be highlighted. It’s an out-of-control energy, so once things begin to go, its hard to pop the bubble. Hugh investments can be made for things in the agricultural industry, food distribution, safety, and security measures. Stocking up or purchasing excess to feel safe, but leaving other’s out if they don’t have the means.
The 2nd square to Jupiter occurs on August 20/21st.
The final square on September 4th.
Venus will then make three connections with Neptune through Quincunx aspect. The first being on July 15th, 2023.
This can be problematic, as her idealism are met with bizarre events which are difficult to hurdle over. Adjustments must be made to make any progress forward. Here we have inaccurate perceptions. Which can lead to confusion. Mistaken intentions by others and an inability to proceed. One could think another has the same feelings as they have, but soon find out that isn’t the case. This is where we have illusions of love. Having rose coloured glasses on and unrealistic expectations or views. The dreamer is the dream.
This is where we get unbelievable requests or actions from others. Things which do not make sense and are unrealistic both in their application and intension. The ideas are too costly and can damage relationships.
The 2nd pass is on July 30th, 2023.
The 3rd pass is on October 3rd, 2023.
PLUTO IS ACTIVE THIS MONTH
. Now situated at the 29th degree of Capricorn. A critical position. Which could bring complications to the month’s energy. In-decisions are apparent due to the ongoing square to the Nodal axis, which can cause difficulties between individual rights and broken alliances. It’s hard to make decisions, yet there is a sense of urgency to finish up and complete a project. Old issues related to leaders, governments or corporations can see support waning. Things reach a boiling point.
FULL SUPERMOON IN CAPRICORN: BUCK MOON: JULY 3, 2023
This is an important Moon for both Canada and the United States as it straddles both birth dates of each country. Here the Moon is close to the earth, revealing elements with governments, corporations, business sectors, bosses, or those in authority. Capricorn thus far has been the system that governs our lives. It is the rules, regulatory systems, the red tape, or bureaucracy. This Moon shines a light on these elements.
Capricorn is very much the traditionalist. The realist in it’s clear-cut mannerisms of adhering to the structural hierarchy. The Moon is not comfortable here, having to obey the authority at hand. Where one can feel isolated or alone.
This Moon appears to move forward with various projects. Perhaps within the infrastructure or the system. Roads, bridges buildings. With a long-term vision for what needs to be accomplished for sustainability and the future endeavors projected. Saturn is the ruler of this Moon, now in the enlightened sign of Pisces, where anything is possible, but can become rather confused. Both the Sun and Moon are making positive aspects to this planet. Indicative of new ideas, or new materials appearing within the building process. Hope emerges. Neptune has just stationed retrograde, indicative of a review process prior to proceeding. Expenditures
The Moon is also trine to Jupiter, leading to increase optimism and expenditures for such projects. Rising inflationary elements seem present, but the Sun is sextile, which can certainly guarantee promises made by governments or leaders to ensure safety, trade and distribution of goods and services. Venus rules this Jupiter and under pressure due to her square to Uranus, which indicates upsets or changes of direction. A new light is shone on the present circumstances.
MARS ENTERS VIRGO: JULY 10, 2023:
Mars influence in Virgo, addresses issues related to the health care fields. Hospitals or health care facilities and their workers. There is a need to work out and deal with matters related to the Health Care systems. Lots of activity surrounding these issues. Mars can be rather aggressive, and is related to surgical application, expect some highlights around this region of expertise. Virgo also rules old wisdom, ancient practices, which ties into alternative health and herbology. We could see more activity or actions surrounding this area.
More people paying attention to their diets or exercise programs. Indulging in getting into shape and perhaps changing how they live as they make lifestyle changes. Virgo is the perfectionist and can struggle if things don’t go exactly as one wishes, causing to start over numerous times. It can be a little OCD which would indicate a need to be cautious of what your expectations are.
There can be a lot of criticism with Virgo in her nagging energy, that she knows best. Causing conflicts with employees or co-workers. A nervousness or anxiety can arise if a war of words transpires. Things will have to be in order and to make sense least one falls into a disagreement over what isn’t done properly.
MERCURY INGRESS INTO LEO: JULY 11, 2023
Mercury here is rather excitable. Eager to make plans. Determined to express its ability to create. A smooth talker, persuasive in enticing others to their liking due to their charismatic mannerisms. This is confident presentations. One needs to be sure that the information isn’t all fluff, drama, or arrogance. There is the ability to think up ingenious ways in solving problems. The over-all goal is looked at, rather than the details in how to get there. Yet this is the executive who seeks planning and purpose. Investors and liked minded enthusiastic people to participate in such ventures. Royalty initiating various projects. Conversations gear around children’s interests, educational purposes of enjoyment, artistic venues, the theatre or acting, stock market, excitement, and travel. High risk games through gambling venues.
Mercury oppose Pluto: July 10th.
There is a need to keep things in perspective. Whatever is emerging at this time, can create dredging up old issues within the halls of power. Secrets are revealed. New information is disclosed.
Mercury square Jupiter: July 17th
This is over exaggerations that go no where. Plans are overwhelming and everything seems a bit over the top. News items are extreme with possible winds prevailing that could be rather destructive if not adhering to realistic ideas.
Mercury conjunct Venus: July 27, 2023:
This begins a new cycle between these two. Speaking of matters of the heart and could form new alliances between others. It can be romantic with communication geared to music, poetry, and writing. Expressions of beauty and harmony are needed, launching us onto a new platform.
NODAL INGRESS INTO ARIES AND LIBRA AXIS: JULY 17TH: NEW ECLIPSES EMERGING
This is a significant shift taking place. Where the universe is accelerating a new area of the zodiac through the eclipse openings. The Aries/Libra axis is very much about individuality and how we interconnect with one another through cooperation and alignment. It addresses a pioneering quality of newness, whereby we refresh our personal direction and could lose various connections or alliances along the way.
This will begin to manifest rapidly as the North Node and the South Node come to cross angles with Pluto. The question here is: Is the System working for both the individual and those in alignment or alliance for the benefit of the whole? Is the system or leadership preventing cooperation within the group to allow individuality to shine forth?
This will push the barrier for reform within the social fabric in how we operate as a governing force. This can cause problems within the establishment by coming down to hard to enforce the rules, without consideration of alliances or individual rights. There is a danger of business failings because of the rules being to controlled or that one in power wishes to exercise their control which will lead to the death of the business entity or individual rights. This can cause revolutionary responses, through strategic maneuvers or even violence.
NEW MOON IN CANCER: JULY 17, 2023
The New Moon arrives in the sensitive side of Cancer. Initiating new directions within the housing sector. Protection and security issues for various countries. This Moon is a bit stressed, due to its approaching opposition to Pluto and it’s square to the nodal axis. Pushing for a shift to take place between the population and those in power. Power struggles can ensue. Government entities could be saying they are doing it for our own security. The fairly tight Yod, with Venus at the apex while inconjunct both Pluto and Neptune, gives the impression of being duped into believing something which is not true. That something is hidden, or hidden elements are present with a focus on the financial sector, relationships, or partnerships.
The double way yod, also leads Neptune as the aspect, with Venus and the south Node sextile. Past events promote futuristic possibilities. Old connections or alliances can be beneficial. However, the way we reconnect can be rather bizarre. Others could be asking for strange requests.
Yet the New Moon is trine to Neptune, allowing us to launch new inspirational ideas to resolve any elements which seem a little fishy. It’s a good aspect to dissolve ourselves in matters of family, home connections, back yard parties and a little indulgence.
MARS OPPOSES SATURN: JULY 19 2023:
Things are out of balance here. Pressured to complete various projects, but limited on organizational techniques. Stalls can be apparent with delays or obstacles to hurdle over. A little obsessive. Certain leaders or people in positions in authority could be questioned for their actions.
VENUS STATIONS RETROGRADE AT 28 LEO : JULY 22, 2023.
SUN OPPOSE PLUTO: JULY 21, 2023:
This will trigger the New Moon’s energy from the 17th. Ending the Sun’s journey through Cancer. We can be at a very vulnerable place here. Challenged to be something we are not. It’s difficult to crawl back into our shells and hide. The control of Pluto can make us feel as though we are once again in some sort of power struggle. This can bring out the toxicity within our lives.
SUN INGRESS INTO LEO: JULY 23:
We are now entering the mid-summer months. We’re all feeling a little more energetic. Eager to do the summer thing. Fun in the Sun with beaches, social gatherings, dances, camps, and children’s affairs. Leo is by nature, a very generous sign. Seeking recognition within your own little kingdoms. Here we seek our hearts desire. Drumming up our courage to achieve our goals and ambitions.
MERCURY INGRESS INTO VIRGO: JULY 29TH:
Mercury is at his best in Virgo. Shifting our perspective by late July from holiday escapes to getting organized and planning for fall events. This is a great energy to get organized. Clean out the closets, change our diets and work on getting in shape. We are more health conscious and could hear news about the health care system. People are paying attention to the details. We can concentrate on written issues and making applications to various projects or educational certification. Practicality is of top priority as we discern between what is necessary and what is useless information.
